Rare Condition- Part 2
I was confused. Looking at my confused face aunty said the pain you are facing in your breast is because it is lactating and you breast is full with milk, So it is necessary that you release some milk from your breast which can be done in two ways either you can use a breast pump which will suck out milk from your breast or you can feed this hungry baby whose mom has died giving birth to him 2 days back and he is crying since tomorrow due to hunger. You can choose whatever you think is right. Both my mom and doctor aunty where looking at me for the answer. I just thought for a second and looked at the baby and said. I will feed the baby. Nurse then asked me to remove my shirt and I removed it kept the baby on my lap and guided me to the process. She told me to hold babies head gently and guide it to the nipple. As did as she said and as soon as I took babies head to my nipples he sucked so hard that a current run through my body. I was feeling a little pain but in some time I was feeling good as now my breast were feeling little lighter. After about 20-25 minutes baby started crying again. Nurse asked me to feed the baby from the other breast. I changed the side and the baby started to suck the milk again. The baby was very hungry and I was happy that I could help here. In about 20 minutes baby went to sleep and nurse took the baby from aunty's cabin. Aunty the said whenever you feel that your breast is about to burst you can come to me and I will arrange something. We thanked aunty and came home.
